Client: Nacho Campo
Role: Conceptualisation, Brand Identity, 3D, UI
Year: 2023
Nacho Campo is a self-taught photographer based in London, with a passion for capturing human connection. Driven by the concept of ‘sonder’—the idea that everyone leads a uniquely complex and nuanced life—he tries to capture these powerful stories in every frame.
To develop his brand concept, we focused on three elements: the complex mechanical workings of SLR cameras, the biological mechanisms behind human vision and the emotional responses those images generate. Together, these ideas forged the final concept: the ‘Mirror’.
The ‘Mirror’ has Nacho become a metaphorical mirror for his subjects, reflecting their emotions and allowing them to see their true selves in his frame. This concept is carefully presented in the brand’s logo and assets.
Meanwhile, the typography takes inspiration from the New York skyline—where he first fell in love with photography—presenting a subtle reflection of his own story. The result is a striking brand that showcases Nacho’s expertise and captures his method of using human connection to tell stunning visual stories.
